Advocacy Services are community based organisations funded by the Australian Government under the National Aged Care Advocacy Program [NACAP] to provide free and confidential support to recipients of care and also to promote the rights of older people to aged care service providers.

The Aged-care Rights Service Inc (TARS) is the advocacy service for the residents of Australian Government funded low and high aged care homes and the recipients of in-home aged care in NSW.
