What is a community legal centre?

Community Legal Centres (CLCs) are independent community organizations providing free legal services including advice and information. CLCs also undertake law reform and advocacy, and provide legal education for organizations and communities across NSW. We promote human rights and advocate for a fair and non-discriminatory legal justice system. CLCs often take on cases where Legal Aid is not available or where CLCs have particular expertise. There are 39 CLCs in NSW.
